Case Description:    In May 2000, Ms. Renee Belec, Corporate Citizenship Manager at Ford Motor Company of Canada Limited, was wondering what approach to take to publicize externally the company's new corporate volunteer program.  One alternative being considered was to contact the media.  The case reviews the origins of the program and other corporate citizenship initiatives at Ford.
