Case Description:    Seminar executives at Air Canada assess the impact of both deregulation and privatization.  The airline has an opportunity to influence the form each takes.  It must deal with the political and governmental dimensions of their environment, formulate a political strategy, and consider the potential obstacles and common management tactics available to successfully implant strategic change.
