This manual describes requirements and procedures established by Laurier for work with potentially hazardous biological agents. These are applicable to all laboratory research activities and teaching labs that may involve exposure to these agents. The manual is based upon the Health Canada Laboratory Guidelines (2004 edition) and reflects best practices.
