Laurier research centre members VIP guests at MAVEN spacecraft launch

The MAVEN Mars orbiter, the last spacecraft scheduled to travel to Mars until 2016, was launched on November 18 at Cape Canaveral,Florida. Shohini Ghose, Associate Professor of physics and computer science and Director of Laurierís Women in Science Centre (WinS), and Charlotte Armstrong, WinS outreach coordinator, were VIP guests for the launch.
