The Final Assessment Report is authored by the Faculty Dean in
consultation with the Associate Vice-President: Teaching & Learning
and the Vice-President: Academic & Provost. The objective of the
report is to synthesize all previous cyclical review documents (the
self-study, external reviewer’s report, unit response), to provide the
executive response (comments on the program strengths and opportunities
for improvement), and to create a schedule for the recommendations
approved for implementation.
The Final Assessment Report is submitted first to the Program
Review Sub-Committee and then to the Senate Academic Planning Committee
for review and approval, as well as to Senate and the Board of
Governors for information. The Final Assessment Report, excluding any
confidential sections, is a public document that is posted on the
Quality Assurance Office website.
