Opportunity:
Seeking a senior year or mature student as a research assistant for the Internationalization of Indigenous Rights and Governance Project. This position is funded by the Laurier’s Office of Aboriginal Initiatives. I hope you will join us on this exciting project.
About the Project:
This is an opportunity for a bright and passionate student to work on an important issue of Indigenous rights with Dr Terry Mitchell and an interdisciplinary group of scholars. The Internationalization of Indigenous Rights and Governance Project (IIRGP) is comprised of a group of Indigenous and non-Indigenous scholars working together to advance policy to promote effective governance, legislative protection, and culture survival for Indigenous peoples in Canada, USA, Chile, New Zealand and Australia. http://www.cigionline.org/activity/internationalization-of-indigenous-rights-and-governance-project
