Grading SystemA student's progress within a program will be evaluated on the basis of the grade point average (GPA). For purposes of calculation, the grade point (GP) earned in a half-credit (0.5) course will be given one-half weight of that earned in a full-credit (1.0) course. Likewise, the GP earned in a quarter-credit (0.25) course will be given one-quarter weight of that earned in a full-credit course. Letter grades, grade point equivalents, and corresponding percentages are as follows:
* Final exam not written - failed course. Where an X appears beside a final passing grade, the final examination was not written and the grade is based upon term work. ** Dropped after academic deadline - failed course. |
