How to Apply and RegisterFall/Winter LORIS Registration Instructions for Part-time Students Step 1. Students who are new to Laurier (returning students proceed to step 2) must apply for admission through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC). Admission information, including Letter of Permission, is available online at www.wlu.ca/admissions. The OUAC form can be found in the Forms section of this calendar. New this year, all registered students will automatically be confirmed by the Registrar’s Office in their current academic program on LORIS, for registration in the next academic year - Fall 2009/Winter 2010/Spring 2010. Year 1 students must declare their specialization or they will be placed in the general program without designation. Please refer to the LORIS Information Page for specific information. Note: You will be able to make program changes on LORIS from March 1, 2009 to April 29th, 2009
ALL students who are returning to Laurier following an absence in study must confirm their program. If you do not have a time ticket, submit the appropriate Program Selection Form or Request for Reregistration at the Records Forms site. We will process this form within 1 to 2 business days.
Paper registration continues to be available using the Intent to Register form or the Course Change Request form. Return either form with your Online Learning term form to the Office of the Registrar. Printable forms are available online from the forms section of the Office of the Registrar website: www.wlu.ca/registrar and the Distance Education website www.wlu.ca/onlinelearning. Step 3. When you register online, you must fill out your Online Learning term form at the same time. Read the instructions for completing the form carefully, especially when selecting your exam centre. If you register online, please complete your DE Form online. |
