Learning Services are designed to support and enhance a student's academic experience at Laurier.   The services range from improving mathematics and writing skills, to learning how to prepare a presentation, to developing a broader and deeper understanding of the Library resources. Most of these services are delivered in small group settings and are designed to encourage the sharing of ideas and peer learning.   Some services are available on an individual basis.  These one on one sessions are intended to provide students with a more indepth and comprehensive understanding of academic learning, such as mathematics and writing skills.

These services are designed to support students who are striving for academic excellence and conversely for students who are struggling in a course.   There are eight centres that  work cooperatively and collaboratively to deliver specific learning objectives.   They are the Accessible Learning Centre, Central Academic Advising, Information Technology Services, Library, Mathematics Assistance Centre, Media Technology Services, Study Skills Program and the Writing Centre.
