Graduation Requirements: After Three Years of an Honours Degree Program

For students admitted prior to September 1, 2007 without a lapse in registration of 18 months or more:
A student eligible to enter Year 4 of an honours program, and not on probation, may elect to receive a general degree with the subject area of their honours program for which there is an existing general-level major, provided:

  • All the courses normally constituting the first three years of the honours program must be completed.
  • At least 75 percent of the total number of courses required for the degree must be successfully completed (normally 15.0 credits).
