The Fred Nichols Campus Centre is owned by the Wilfrid Laurier University Students' Union and contains many of the offices, services and business operations of the student-run organization. The U-Desk, which handles Health & Dental Plan inquiries iis located on the first floor, as well as dozens of other campus information and support services. The second floor is the heart of the student-centered organization, containing the offices of the Students' Union President, and student executive. The Office of the Dean of Students, Student Leadership Centre and the 24 Hour lounge also operate from the second floor.

The Fred Nichols Campus Centre hosts the Terrace Food Court (ground floor), International News convenience store (first floor), Wilf's Restaurant & Bar (first floor), Campus Clubs & Faculty Associations work space (third floor) and the Turret Nightclub (third floor). Foot Patrol, a free campus walk home program, operates nightly from the ground floor.
