Extended Health and Dental Insurance ProgramsWLUSU Health and Dental Plan Inquiries: U-Desk These Plans are Mandatory for Full and Part-time Students. The health and dental plans are mandatory for all undergraduate part-time and full-time students enrolled in the fall term. The plan is also mandatory for co-op students enrolled in a fall work term and students enrolled in Online Learning courses. Undergraduate students can obtain benefits information and instruction on how to remit claims at healthplan.yourstudentsunion.ca Opt Out Eligibility Students with alternate forms of coverage may be eligible to opt out. In order to opt out of the health and/or dental plans, students must do so ON-LINE at healthplan.yourstudentsunion.ca and prior to the opt out deadline date (September 21, 2012). The online opt out will be available at the above website beginning August 7, 2012 and only after your fall term fees have been assessed. Fees for the Undergraduate Health and Dental Plan are assessed only once per year, in the fall term. Coverage begins on September 1st and expires on August 31st of the following year. |
