In 2003, the Schlegel Centre for Entrepreneurship was designated as a CMA Canada Centre of Excellence in Management Accounting for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. It is the only facility of its kind in Canada. This initiative is part of a 10-year agreement between CMA Canada and the School of Business & Economcs aimed at expanding the boundaries of management accounting and enhancing the competitiveness of Canadian small businesses.
