Special Constable ServiceDirector, Special Constable Service: Rod Curran, rcurran@wlu.ca, ext. 3710 Lauriers' Special Constable Service personnel have Peace Officer status on campus to deal with both criminal and routine calls for service. Special Constables are available 24 hours a day for your safety and questions. They provide a variety of prevention programs. The Laurier Special Constables have a close working relationship with the Waterloo Regional Police Service. The Dispatch Centre is located in the Student Services building and has one dispatcher that monitors the Waterloo, Brantford and Kitchener campuses 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. The dispatchers monitors over 300 cameras, 77 fire alarms and 32 other alarm systems. The campuses are also equipped with 64 emergency poles and phones for your safety.
