In July 2003, Wilfrid Laurier University won the honour of hosting the Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS). The ACUNS mandate is to promote excellence in research, writing, and teaching about the United Nations, international organization, international law, and the processes of multilateralism in international relations.
