Cancellation/Drop/ Withdrawal Schedule of Tuition Fee Charges
Cancellation: Cancelling registration before the specific academic term begins.
All tuition penalties for dropped courses are calculated based on the Course Rate. The Course Rate for any term is equivalent to the cost of 1.0 credits as approved by the Board of Governors (refer to Fees section). Note: full-time student tuition is capped at a maximum rate and results in a discounted rate of tuition being charged on some courses. Penalties are calculated based on Course Weight multiplied by the Course Rate, not on the discounted tuition fee.
Full-year courses are both billed and adjusted as if they were two separate courses charged each term, (i.e., if a two-term course is dropped after the last day to register and the last day to add classroom courses in the winter term, the student would be charged 100 percent of fall term and 55 percent of winter term). Refer to the Academic Dates chapter for exact withdrawal deadline dates. (Dates are subject to change).
