OL233/CC233 Introduction to Social Science Research Methods 0.50 Credits
This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to social science research methodologies. Students will learn deductive and inductive and quantitative and qualitative approaches to research. Students will learn the fundamentals of scientific methods and research designs, the conceptualization and operationalization of the research questions, the selection of theoretical frameworks, sampling methodologies, measurement strategies, data collection techniques, and ethical issues in research.
