Honours Business Administration - Options
A BBA option consists of a minimum of 2.0 credits at the 300 or 400 level beyond core courses counted toward the degree. Under special circumstances a BU480 - Independent Research may be approved for inclusion toward an option. An option allows students to pursue an interest within general management; the option is not a professional designation. The option will appear on the student’s degree and on the official transcript when denoted on the application to graduate submitted by the student prior to printed deadlines.
BBA students wishing to pursue the Legal Studies
Option or any other applicable academic option at Laurier may do
so, however only one academic option may be declared upon graduation (in addition to the Co-operative Education Option). Laurier options cannot be combined with an Honours Business Administration Option. It should also be noted that most Laurier options offered outside of the
Business Department will not fit into the standard four-year BBA program,
additional terms will be needed due to non-BU prerequisites. BBA students are restricted from the
Management Option.
