International Development OptionThe International Development Option is only available at the Brantford Campus. The option consists of 4.0 credits. Students completing the option must complete the requirements of the Contemporary Studies (CT) major (minimum 5.0 CT credits as outlined in the Contemporary Studies section). Program requirements: Required Courses: (2.0 credits) Elective Courses: (2.0 credits) CC325/HR325 - Crimes Against Humanity The Brantford Campus offers only two general degrees: a BA without a designation, and a BA in Contemporary Studies. No further designation (major, option or minor) is awarded with these degrees. Students admitted prior to September 2007, who have not allowed an 18-month lapse in course registration and are in good standing in their program/major, may follow the progression regulations that were in effect at the time of their registration in a general major. These regulations allow students to combine general Contemporary Studies with other majors, options or minors. Students completing the Honours BA Leadership Program may specialize in International Development. This stream consists of 4.0 credits, as outlined in the requirements for the International Development Option. In addition, students also complete the required courses for the Honours BA in Leadership (6.5 credits) and the requirements of the Contemporary Studies Major (5.0 credits) as outlined in the Contemporary Studies section.
