Concurrent Honours or General BA/BEd

The major for the Bachelor of Arts will be Contemporary Studies, which is available as a general or honours degree, and which can be combined with other majors or minors that include anthropology, communication studies, criminology, English, geography, global studies, history, human rights/human diversity, indigenous studies, journalism, organizational leadership, philosophy, political science, psychology, religion and culture, sociology and women's studies. The concurrent program is intended for graduating high school students.

Effective for new students admitted in September 2007, CT will be the only general major available. Honours students may still combine available honours subjects and minors. No other designations will be available for general CT majors.
