Laurier Brantford's Human Rights & Human Diversity single and combined honours program, examine the key forces that will shape students' futures as individuals, workers and Canadians. The program is designed to provide an understanding of the origins and the laws and institutions designed to protect human rights as well as the processes diversifying cultures and the policies that have been put in place to manage and accommodate this diversity. Program Information
Students in the Honours Human Rights and Human Diversity program may specialize in human resources management through an articulation agreement with Conestoga College. Under this agreement, students who have successfully completed 10.0 credits, including the 100-level and 200-level required courses in Human Rights and Human Diversity and OL/CT/MB224 (or equivalent), with at least a 5.0 GPA in these courses shall be eligible to enroll in the post-degree/post-diploma human resources management program through Conestoga College. If these students complete these courses with an average of 70% or better, they will receive 5.0 senior credits as follows: OL250, OL260, OL311, OL312, 1.0 miscellaneous HRHD Category I Elective credits, 1.0 miscellaneous HRHD Category II Elective credits, 1.0 miscellaneous senior credits, and the requirement to complete an online course shall be waived.
