1Last day to submit Application to Graduate form (fee and penalty fee apply) for Spring Convocation; see Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees for Graduate Programs. No applications will be accepted after this date
May 2 - May 8

Withdrawing from all courses and graduate program (appropriate paperwork is required) during this time period, there is no tuition charge

2Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copies of dissertation/thesis/major research paper (as applicable to the graduate program) to Graduate Studies Office to be eligible to graduate at spring convocation
2Spring term and classes begin
8Final day to drop spring term course(s) with no tuition charge but remain registered (students must remain registered in at least one course) (part-time MBA students only)
May 9 - May 15Part-time MBA students who drop any course(s) in this timeframe (even if replaced with another course or courses) will be assessed 10 percent of the tuition fee for the dropped course(s)
15Final day for late registration and for adding spring term courses
15Final day to withdraw from the program at 10 percent tuition charge
May 16 - Jun 27If you withdraw from a course (or courses) (part-time MBA students) or from your graduate program (all graduate students) during this time period, you are responsible for 55 percent tuition
23Victoria Day, university-observed holiday
30Last day to drop six-week course (started May 2) offered in spring term without academic penalty.
31Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copies of dissertation/thesis/major research paper (as applicable to the graduate program) to Graduate Studies Office to receive full refund of spring term fees
31From this day until the last day of classes, if you drop a six-week course (started on May 2), you will receive academic penalty (failure)
 
June, 2011
5Final day for MSW students to withdraw without failure from spring term courses and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55 percent)
10Spring convocation
27Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copies of dissertation/thesis/major research paper (as applicable to the graduate program) to Graduate Studies Office to receive partial refund (45 percent) of spring term tuition fee
27Final day for withdrawing without failure from spring term courses and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55 percent) (except MSW)
28From this date until the end of classes this term, if you withdraw from your program (or in the case of part-time MBA students, if you withdraw from a spring term course), you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition

29Last day to drop six-week course (started July 4) offered in spring term without academic penalty.
