13Final day to drop spring term course(s) with no tuition charge but remain registered (students must remain registered in at least one course) (part-time MBA students only)
May 14 - May 20Part-time MBA students who drop any course(s) in this timeframe (even if replaced with another course or courses) will be assessed 10 percent of the tuition fee for the dropped course(s)
20Final day to withdraw from the university at 10 percent tuition charge
20Final day for late registration and for adding spring term courses

May 21 - Jul 2If you withdraw from a course (or courses) (part-time MBA students) or from your graduate program (all graduate students) during this time period, you are responsible for 55 percent tuition
31Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copies of dissertation/thesis/major research paper (as applicable to the graduate program) to Graduate Studies Office to receive full refund of spring term fees

4Last day to drop 6-week course (started May 7) offered in spring term without academic penalty
5From this day until the last day of classes in spring term, if you drop a six-week course (started on May 7), you will receive academic penalty (failure)

2Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copies of dissertation/thesis/major research paper (as applicable to the graduate program) to Graduate Studies Office to receive partial refund (45 percent) of spring term tuition fee
2Final day for withdrawing without failure from spring term courses and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55 percent)
3From this date until the end of classes this term, if you drop a spring term course (part-time Waterloo MBA students only) or withdraw from your program (all students), you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
