13 Final day to cancel fall term 2009 and fall/winter 2009/10 session registration with no tuition charge (cancellation fee applies)
14 Fall term begins
20 Final day to drop fall and fall/winter course(s) with no tuition charge but remain registered (students must remain registered in at least one course) (part-time MBA students only)
Sep 21 - Sep 27 Part-time MBA students who drop any course(s) in this timeframe (even if replaced with another course or courses) will be assessed 10% of the tuition fee for the dropped course(s)
27 Final day for late registration and for adding fall term 2009 and fall/winter 2009/10 session courses
27 Final day to withdraw from the program at 10 percent tuition charge
Sep 28 - Nov 9 If you withdraw from a course (or courses) (part-time MBA students) or from your graduate program (all graduate students) during this time period, you are responsible for 55% tuition
30 Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copies of dissertation/thesis/research paper to Graduate Studies Office to receive full refund of fall term fees

1 Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copies of dissertation/thesis/research paper to Graduate Studies Office to be eligible to graduate at fall convocation
1 Final day to submit application for fall convocation (late fee and application fee apply); see Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees for Graduate Programs. No applications will be processed after this date
12 Thanksgiving, university-observed holiday, no classes
30 Fall convocation

9 Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copies of dissertation/thesis/research paper to Graduate Studies Office to receive partial refund (45 percent) of fall term tuition fee
9 Final day for withdrawing without failure from fall term courses and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55 percent)
10 From this date until the end of classes this term, if you withdraw from your program, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
December, 2009
7 Last day of classes for qualifying year (undergraduate) students
Dec 10 - Dec 22 Final fall term examinations for qualifying year (undergraduate) students (qualifying year students are advised not to make commitments during this time (i.e., vacation)).
11 Fall term classes end (see December 14 for make-up class schedule)
14 Make-up fall term Monday class for Thanksgiving (Monday October 12)
