5 Final day to cancel fall term 2008 and fall/winter 2008/09 session registration with no tuition charge (cancellation fee applies)
6 Orientation for incoming part-time MBA students
8 Fall term begins
Sep 10 - Apr 17 Fall term field placements for full-time MSW advanced standing students
12 Final day to drop fall and fall/winter course(s) with no tuition charge but remain registered (students must remain registered in at least one course) (part-time MBA students only)
Sep 13 - Sep 19 Part-time MBA students who drop any course(s) in this timeframe (even if replaced with another course or courses) will be assessed 10% of the tuition fee for the dropped course(s)
19 Final day for late registration and for adding fall term 2008 and fall/winter 2008/09 session courses
19 Final day to withdraw from the program at 10 percent tuition charge
Sep 20 - Nov 3 If you withdraw from a course (or courses) (part-time MBA students) or from your graduate program (all graduate students) during this time period, you are responsible for 55% tuition
30 Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copies of dissertation/thesis/research paper to Graduate Studies Office to receive full refund of fall term fees

1 Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copies of dissertation/thesis/research paper to Graduate Studies Office to be eligible to graduate at fall convocation
1 Final day to submit application for fall convocation (late fee and application fee apply); see Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees for Graduate Programs. No applications will be processed after this date
13 Thanksgiving, university-observed holiday, no classes

3 Final day for submitting final (post-defence) copies of dissertation/thesis/research paper to Graduate Studies Office to receive partial refund (45 percent) of fall term tuition fee
3 Final day for withdrawing without failure from fall term courses and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55 percent)
4 From this date until the end of classes this term, if you withdraw from your program, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition

1 Last day of classes for qualifying year (undergraduate) students
Dec 4 - Dec 18 Final fall term examinations for qualifying year (undergraduate) students (qualifying year students are advised not to make commitments during this time (i.e., vacation)).
