15 All returning students can begin to select courses (including Online Learning) for Spring, using LORIS, until the last day to add courses in the term
 
March, 2013
11 Application deadline for students requiring "Application for Admission" for part-time studies for spring term (not applicable to incoming Letter of Permission students)
11 Last day to register in at least one course without the late registration fee (including Online Learning)
12 Late registration fee (including Online Learning) will be applied. Avoid this charge by selecting courses prior to this date
29 Good Friday, university-observed holiday
 
April, 2013
8 Online Learning materials available for pick-up for courses beginning in spring.
14 Registrations in online learning courses received after this date will not be guaranteed for delivery of materials prior to the beginning of the term. 
25 Tuition fees due for courses beginning in spring
30 Centre for Online Learning is closed for year-end inventory. University remains open.

1 Co-op work term begins

May 6 - May 12 If you drop/withdraw from 12-week courses during this time period, no tuition charged
12 Last day to drop 12-week course(s) but remain registered with no tuition charge
May 13 - May 19 If you drop/withdraw from course(s) during this time period, you are responsible for 10% tuition (assessed at 10% of the course rate, refer to the Schedule of Tuition Charges for Cancellation/Drop/Withdrawal and/or Fees
19 Last day to add spring term courses (including classroom and online learning)
19 Last day to drop 12-week spring term course(s) or withdraw at 10 percent tuition charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)
May 20 - Jul 2 If you drop/withdraw from 12-week course(s) during this time period, you are responsible for 55% tuition (assessed at the course rate), refer to the Schedule of Tuition Charges for Cancellation/Drop/Withdrawal and/or Fees
20 Victoria Day, university-observed holiday, no lectures
 
June, 2013

1 Canada Day, university-observed holiday
2 Last day to drop 12-week spring term course(s) or withdraw without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
3 From this day until the last day of lectures in this term, if you drop a 12-week course or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
29 Make-up Monday class for Victoria Day
30 Make-up Monday lecture for Canada Day, lectures end
Jul 31 - Aug 1 Study days

1 Application to Graduate form and fee due for fall convocation without penalty. See Miscellaneous Fees in the Financial Services chapter
Aug 2 - Aug 15 Final examinations - Students are advised not to make travel commitments during this time. There are no examinations scheduled on the Civic Holiday weekend)
Aug 2 - Oct 1 Late penalty fee applies on Application to Graduate forms received for fall convocation. See Miscellaneous Fees in the Financial Services chapter
5 Civic holiday, university-observed holiday, no examinations scheduled on the Civic Holiday weekend (August 3, 4, 5)
15 Spring term ends

6 Last day to return online learning videotapes, video CDRoms and DVDs for refund
