1 Year 1 students – begin to select courses for fall/winter 2007-2008 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage 
1 Deadline to apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) for full-time studies beginning in fall term
 
June, 2007
18 Year 4 students – begin to select courses for fall/winter 2007-2008 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage  
25 Year 3 students – begin to select courses for fall/winter 2007-2008 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage

9 All other continuing undergraduate students (including unclassified and post-degree) – begin to select courses for fall/winter 2007-2008 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage 
13 Application deadline for students requiring "Application for Admission" for part-time studies for fall term and fall/winter session. Distance education students are encouraged to register early. Eligible registrations received after this date will not be guaranteed for delivery of materials prior to the beginning of the term. Courses may also be cancelled or closed
13 Early registration discount ends for fall term and fall/winter term  (including distance education)

1 Final day to submit applications for fall convocation (application fee applies), refer to Miscellaneous Fees in the Financial Services chapter
Aug 2 - Oct 1 Applications for fall convocation (late fee and application fee applies), refer to Miscellaneous Fees in the Financial Services chapter
3 Final day for students registered in distance education courses to submit a distance education form requesting the required materials for those courses  to be shipped at no charge. Shipping charges apply after this date.
13 Fall term and fall/winter session distance education kits available for pickup
23 Fall term and fall/winter session fees due

14 Final day to add first six-week course(s) which began September 10
14 Final day to drop 12-week and fall/winter course(s) but remain registered with no tuition charge (students must remain registered in at least one course)
14 Final day to drop first six-week course(s) which began September 10 at 10 percent tuition charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)
17 Final day for Year 2 students applying for arts co-op and science co-op options
17 Final day for Year 2 students applying for the co-op option in the School of Business & Economics
21 Final day to add fall term and fall/winter classroom courses (including second six-week courses beginning October 23)
21 Final day to drop 12-week and fall/winter session course(s) or withdraw at 10 percent tuition charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)
21 Final day to register for distance education courses and submit a distance education form (pick-up of distance education materials at the Waterloo campus only)
21 Final day to return fall term and fall/winter term distance education textbooks for refund
 
October, 2007

5 Final day to drop first six-week course(s) which began September 10 without failure and for possible  tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
6 From this date until the end of first six-week classes in this term, if you drop a first six-week fall term course that began September 10 or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
8 Thanksgiving, university-observed holiday, no fall term or fall/winter session classes
22 First six-week course(s) that began September 10 end
23 Second six-week courses begin
25 Final day to drop second six-week courses which began October 23 but remain registered with no tuition charge
26 Fall convocation (Waterloo Campus)
29 Final day to drop second six-week courses that began October 23 at 10 percent tuition fee charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)

5 Final day to drop course(s) or withdraw from 12-week course(s) without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
6 From this date until the end of classes in this term, if you drop a 12-week fall term course that began September 10 or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
19 Final day to drop second six-week course(s) which began October 23 without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
20 From this date until the last day of second six-week classes in this term, if you drop a second six-week fall term course that began October 23 or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition

3 Make-up fall term Monday class for Thanksgiving (Monday, October 8)

Dec 6 - Dec 20 Final fall term examinations - Students are advised not to make commitments during this time (i.e., vacation)
