16 Application deadline for students requiring "Application for Admission" for part-time studies for intersession. Distance education students are encouraged to register early. Eligible registrations received after this date will not be guaranteed for delivery of materials prior to the beginning of the term. Courses may also be cancelled or closed
16 Early registration discount ends for Intersession (including distance education)
16 Final day for students outside of Canada to register for intersession distance education course(s) and submit a distance education form to have materials shipped (including shipping to Laurier Brantford Bookstore)
23 Final day for students within Canada to register for intersession distance education course(s) and submit a distance education form to have materials shipped (including shipping to Laurier Brantford Bookstore)

2 Intersession distance education kits available for pickup
6 Good Friday, university-observed holiday
20 Intersession fees due
30 Distance Education Office is closed for year-end inventory. University remains open
30 Final day to cancel intersession registration with no tuition charge (cancellation fee applies)
 
May, 2007
1 Final day to submit applications for spring convocation (late fee and application fee apply), refer to Miscellaneous Fees in the Financial Services chapter. No applications will be processed after this date
1 Intersession begins
2 Final day for students to register for intersession distance education course(s) and submit a distance education form (pick-up of distance education materials at the Waterloo campus only)
2 Final day to add intersession classroom course(s)
3 Final day to drop intersession course(s) but remain registered with no tuition charge
7 Final day to drop intersession course(s) or withdraw at 10 percent tuition charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)
11 Final day to return intersession distance education textbooks for refund
21 Victoria Day, university-observed holiday, no intersession classes
29 Final day to drop intersession course(s) or withdraw without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
30 From this day until the last day of classes in this term, if you drop a six-week intersession course or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition

Jun 6 - Jun 8 Spring convocation (Waterloo Campus)
11 Make-up intersession Monday class for Victoria Day (Monday, May 21)
12 Intersession classes end (6th Monday class, term started on a Tuesday)
Jun 13 - Jun 14 Intersession study period
13 Spring convocation (Brantford Campus)
Jun 15 - Jun 19 Final intersession examinations - Students are advised not to make commitments during this time (i.e., vacation)
19 Intersession ends
