1 Year 1 students begin to select courses for fall/winter 2006-2007 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage 
1 Deadline to apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) for full-time studies beginning in fall term
 
June, 2006
19 Year 4 students begin to select courses for fall/winter 2006-2007 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage  
26 Year 3 students begin to select courses for fall/winter 2006-2007 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage

4 Year 2 students begin to select courses for fall/winter 2006-2007 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage  
10 All other continuing undergraduate students (including unclassified and post-degree) begin to select courses for fall/winter 2006-2007 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage 
14 Application deadline for students requiring "Application for Admission" for part-time studies for fall term and fall/winter session. Distance education students are encouraged to register early. Eligible registrations received after this date will not be guaranteed for delivery of materials prior to the beginning of the term. Courses may also be cancelled or closed
14 Early registration discount ends for fall term and fall/winter term  (including distance education)
21 Final day for students outside Canada to register for fall term and fall/winter distance education courses and submit a distance education form to have materials shipped (including shipping to Laurier Brantford Bookstore)

15 Final day to drop 12-week and fall/winter course(s) but remain registered with no tuition charge (students must remain registered in at least one course)
15 Final day to drop first six-week course(s) which began September 11 at 10 percent tuition charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)
18 Final day for Year 2 students applying for arts co-op and science co-op options
18 Final day for Year 2 students applying for the co-op option in the School of Business & Economics
22 Final day to add fall term and fall/winter classroom courses (including second six-week courses beginning October 24)
22 Final day to drop 12-week and fall/winter session course(s) or withdraw at 10 percent tuition charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)
22 Final day to register for distance education courses and submit a distance education form (pick-up of distance education materials at the Waterloo campus only)
22 Final day to return fall term and fall/winter term distance education textbooks for refund
 
October, 2006
1 Final day to submit applications for fall convocation (late fee and application fee apply), refer to Miscellaneous Fees in the Financial Services chapter. No applications will be processed after this date
9 Thanksgiving, university-observed holiday, no fall term or fall/winter session classes
10 Final day to drop first six-week course(s) which began September 11 without failure and for possible  tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
11 From this date until the end of first six-week classes in this term, if you drop a first six-week fall term course that began September 11 or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
23 First six-week course(s) that began September 11 end
24 Second six-week courses begin
26 Final day to drop second six-week courses which began October 24 but remain registered with no tuition charge
27 Fall convocation (Waterloo Campus)
30 Final day to drop second six-week courses that began October 24 at 10 percent tuition fee charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)

6 Final day to drop course(s) or withdraw from 12-week course(s) without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
7 From this date until the end of classes in this term, if you drop a 12-week fall term course that began September 11 or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
20 Final day to drop second six-week course(s) which began October 24 without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
21 From this date until the last day of second six-week classes in this term, if you drop a second six-week fall term course that began October 24 or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
