October, 2013
1 Last day to submit Application to Graduate form (fee and penalty fee apply) for fall convocation. See Miscellaneous Fees in the Financial Services chapter. No forms will be accepted after this date
 
January, 2015
24 All returning students can begin to select courses (including Online Learning) for Spring, using LORIS, until the last day to add courses in the term
 
March, 2015
9 Last day to register in at least one course without the last registration fee (including Online Learning)
10 Application deadline for students requiring "Application for Admission" for part-time studies for spring term (not applicable to incoming Letter of Permission students)
10 Late registration fee  (including Online Learning) will be applied. Avoid this charge by selecting courses prior to this date
 
April, 2015
3 Good Friday, university-observed holiday
6 Online learning materials available for pick-up for courses beginning in spring
12 Registrations in online learning courses received after this date will not be guaranteed for delivery of materials prior to the beginning of the term
23 Tuition fees due for courses beginning in spring
30 Centre for Online Learning is closed for year-end inventory until 1 p.m. University remains open
 
May, 2015
4 Co-op work term begins
May 4 - May 10 If you drop/withdraw from 12-week courses during this time period, no tuition charged
4 Lectures begin
10 Last day to drop/withdraw from 12-week course(s) with no tuition charge
May 11 - May 17 If you drop/withdraw from 12-week course(s) during this time period, you are responsible for 10% tuition (assessed at 10% of the course rate, refer to the Schedule of Tuition Charges for Cancellation/Drop/Withdrawal and/or Fees)
17 Last day to add courses (including classroom and online learning)
17 Last day to drop 12-week course(s) or withdraw at 10 percent tuition charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)
May 18 - Jun 29 If you drop/withdraw from 12-week course(s) during this time period, you are responsible for 55% tuition (assessed at 55% of the course rate, refer to the Schedule of Tuition Charges for Cancellation/Drop/Withdrawal and/or Fees)
18 Victoria Day, university-observed holiday, no lectures
 
June, 2015
Jun 8 - Jun 12 Spring convocation (Waterloo Campus ceremonies). For details visit, /convocation
Jun 16 - Jun 17 Spring convocation (Brantford Campus ceremonies). For details, visit /convocation
29 Last day to drop 12-week course(s) or withdraw without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
30 From this day until the last day of lectures in this term, if you drop a 12-week course or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
 
July, 2015
1 Canada Day, university-observed holiday, no lectures
27 Make-up Monday lecture for Victoria Day 
28 Make-up Wednesday lecture for Canada Day, lectures end 
Jul 29 - Jul 30 Study days
Jul 31 - Aug 13 Final examinations - Students are advised not to make travel commitments during this time.
 
August, 2015
1 Application to Graduate form and fee due for fall convocation without penalty. See Miscellaneous Fees in the Financial Services chapter
Aug 2 - Oct 1 Late penalty fee applies on Application to Graduate forms received for fall convocation. See Miscellaneous Fees in the Financial Services chapter
3 Civic holiday, university-observed holiday, no examinations scheduled on the Civic Holiday weekend (August 1st, 2nd and 3rd)
13 Spring term ends
28 Co-op work term ends
 
September, 2015
4 Last day to return online learning videotapes, video CDRoms and DVDs for refund
