2 Year 1 students – begin to select courses for fall/winter 2005-2006 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage

27 Year 4 students – begin to select courses for fall/winter 2005-2006 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage

4 Year 3 students – begin to select courses for fall/winter 2005-2006 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage 
8 Year 2 students – begin to select courses for fall/winter 2005-2006 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage  
13 All other continuing undergraduate students (including unclassified and post-degree) – begin to select courses for fall/winter 2005-2006 using LORIS, ongoing throughout summer and fall/winter. Details and deadline dates are posted on the Office of the Registrar homepage

10 LORIS available to add/drop courses for winter term (including second six-week courses beginning February 14)

11 Application deadline for students requiring "Application for Admission" for part-time studies for winter term. Distance education students are encouraged to register early. Eligible registrations received after this date will not be guaranteed for delivery of materials prior to the beginning of the term. Courses may also be cancelled or closed
11 Early registration discount ends for winter term (including distance education
18 Final day for students outside Canada to register for winter term distance education courses and submit a distance education form to have materials shipped (including shipping to Laurier Brantford Bookstore)
25 Deadline to apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) for full-time studies beginning in winter term
25 Final day for students within Canada to register for winter term distance education courses and submit a distance education form to have materials shipped (including shipping to Laurier Brantford Bookstore)

9 Final day to drop first six-week course(s) which began January 3 at 10 percent tuition charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)
9 Final day to add first six-week courses which began January 3
9 Final day to drop 12-week winter term course(s) but remain registered with no tuition charge (students must remain registered in at least one course)
13 Final day to return winter term distance education textbooks for refund
16 Final day to drop 12-week winter term course(s) or withdraw at 10 percent tuition charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)
16 Final day to add winter term classroom courses (including second six-week courses beginning February 14)
30 Final day to drop first six-week course(s) which began January 3 without failure and for possible  tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
31 From this day until the last day of first-six week classes in the term, if you drop a first six-week winter term course that began January 3 or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition

6 Final day to drop course(s) or withdraw from two-term or 12-week winter term course(s) without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
7 From this day until the end of classes in this term, if you drop a 12-week winter term course or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
20 Final day for dropping second six-week course(s) which began February 14 without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
21 From this day until the last day of second six-week classes in this term, if you drop a second six-week winter term course that began February 14 or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
 
April, 2006
1 Final day to confirm your program for fall/winter 2006-2007, using LORIS
3 Winter term and fall/winter classes end (last Monday class – the term began on a Tuesday)
Apr 4 - Apr 5 Fall/winter session and winter term study period
Apr 6 - Apr 27 Final examinations (fall/winter and winter term) - Students are advised not to make commitments during this time (i.e., vacation)
14 Good Friday, university-observed holiday, no fall/winter or winter term examinations
15 Holy Saturday, no fall/winter or winter term examinations
27 Winter term and fall/winter term ends
28 Co-op students' winter work term ends
28 Distance Education Office closed for year-end inventory. University remains open
 
May, 2006
