1	All students can begin to select courses using LORIS, until the deadline date to register.

March, 2011

Application deadline for students requiring "Application for Admission" for part-time studies for spring term.

Late registration charge (including Online Learning - formerly distance education). Avoid this charge by selecting courses prior to this date.

April, 2011
4	Online learning materials available for pickup for courses beginning in spring
20	Tuition fees due for courses beginning in spring
22	Good Friday, university-observed holiday
30	Centre for Online Learning is closed for year-end inventory. University remains open

May, 2011
1	Last day to submit Application to Graduate form (fee and penalty fee apply) for spring convocation. See Miscellaneous Fees in the Financial Services chapter. No applications will be processed after this date
2	Co-op work term begins
May 2 - May 8	If you drop/withdraw during this time period, no tuition charge
2	Lectures begin
8	Last day to drop 12-week spring term course(s) but remain registered with no tuition charge (students must remain registered in at least one course)
May 9 - May 15	If you drop/withdraw from course(s) during this time period, you are responsible for 10% tuition (assessed at 10% of the course rate, refer to the Schedule of Tuition Charges for Cancellation/Drop/Withdrawal and/or Fees)
15	Last day to add classroom courses
15	Last day to add online learning courses and submit an online course form
15	Last day to drop 12-week spring term course(s) or withdraw at 10 percent tuition charge (tuition charge assessed at 10% of course rate)
May 16 - Jun 27	If you drop/withdraw from course(s) during this time period, you are responsible for 55% tuition (assessed at 55% of the course rate, refer to the Schedule of Tuition Charges for Cancellation/Drop/Withdrawal and/or Fees)
23	Victoria Day, university-observed holiday

June, 2011
Jun 6 - Jun 10	Spring convocation (Waterloo Campus ceremonie)
Jun 21 - Jun 22	Spring convocation (Brantford Campus ceremonies)
27	Last day to drop 12-week spring term course(s) or withdraw without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
28	From this day until the last day of classes in this term, if you drop a 12-week spring term course or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition

25	Make-up Monday class for Victoria Day
26	Lectures end
26	Make-up Friday class for Canada Day
