20 Online Learning Courses - last day to submit a term form to request required materials for registered courses to be shipped at no charge. Shipping charges apply after this date

4 Registrations in online learning courses received after this date will not be guaranteed for delivery of materials prior to the beginning of the term.

Mar 8 - Apr 5 From this day until the end of classes in this term, if you drop a 12-week winter term course or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition
21 Last day for dropping second 6-week course(s) which began February 22 without failure and for possible tuition adjustment (tuition charge assessed at 55% of course rate)
Mar 22 - Apr 5 From this day until the last day of second 6-week classes in this term, if you drop a second six-week winter term course that began February 22 or withdraw, you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100 percent tuition

2 Good Friday, university-observed holiday, no lectures
5 Make-up Friday lecture for Good Friday (Friday, April 2) is Monday, April 5
5 Winter term and full-year lectures end 
Apr 6 - Apr 7 Winter term and full-year course study period
Apr 8 - Apr 27 Final examinations (winter term and full-year courses) - Students are advised not to make travel commitments during this time 
26Last day to return online learning videotapes, video CDRoms and DVDs for refund

30Centre for Online Learning closed for year-end inventory. University remains open

Senate/Editorial Changes

November 11, 2009 Meeting of Senate - Motion from the Pandemic Planning Committee was passed to change the last day to drop without financial penalty (6-week and 12-week courses).

January 10th - Last day to drop/withdraw from first 6-week course(s) which began January 4, with no tuition penalty

January 17th - Last day to drop/withdraw from 12-week course(s), with no tuition penalty

February 28th - Last day to drop/withdraw from second 6-week course(s) which begin February 22, with no tuition penalty

The dates of the financial penalty of 55% to drop/withdraw (6-week and 12-week courses) remains the same.
