Developmental Motor Learning for Physical Education

This course integrates motor development principles and motor-learning principles to the application of physical education and introduces students to the methods of teaching primary and elementary physical education using a student-focused, developmentally appropriate approach. Students will learn how to use developmental games, dance and gymnastics to teach fundamental movement skills and concepts that center on an individual-specific basis according to motor, cognitive and affective development.
