Laboratory Techniques in Molecular Biology

This laboratory course will provide students with experience and understanding of selected methods, techniques, and instrumentation used in molecular biology (biotechnology, genetic engineering). Topics may include plasmid DNA isolation from E. coli, use of restriction endonucleases, PCR, gene cloning, and recombinant protein expression in bacteria.
