Mediterranean Culture and Civilization I

The purpose of this course is to direct students in an investigation of various aspects of certain countries and regions bordering the Mediterranean Sea. Students will be able to analyze the different factors that have influenced the Mediterranean region such as: language, social life, art and architecture, and the economic and political systems of some the major cultures of the Mediterranean. Taught in English.
