Advanced Studies in Christian Ethics: The Church and Labour

The emphasis in this course will be upon the church’s response to the industrial revolution and the working class, especially as this has been manifested in Europe and North America. Examples of ethical models of ministry to the industrial workforce shall be examined, such as worker-clergy, industrial missions, specialized ministries and church-labour coalitions. Concentration will be on the Canadian scene.  (for MTh students only.)
