This course reviews practical aspects of generating text-based journalism from within a critical context. It is intended as a complement to JN318, offering students a chance to develop greater experience with newsroom skills and practices. Students will focus on the research and interview process, and draw upon related academic disciplines (such as psychology, ethnography and political science) to deepen their understanding of journalistic reporting.
