Multicultural Competence

Increasing diversity—ethnic, cultural, gender, class—is a fact of life in Canada and around the world. This course takes up the challenges and opportunities of diversity from the perspective of managers, service providers and caregivers who will be experiencing ever greater levels of diversity among their employees and clients. The course will address such topics as: understanding diversity, self-cultural awareness, racism, managing a diverse workforce, and intercultural communications. (Cross-listed as HR350.)
