North American Integration
An examination of ‘integration’ in the North American context including economic, political, cultural and environmental drivers, and the operation of these drivers at the subnational, bilateral and trilateral levels in terms of framing political discourse and impacting policy choices. The course questions the extent to which we can speak of a “continental system” involving Canada and Mexico in relation to a dominant United States. (Cross-listed as PO301.)
