Women, Migration and Diaspora

This course explores the ways in which inequalities and differences, arising from new forms of globalization and from our history of colonialism and racism, affect women and contemporary societies in the global movement of people, goods, culture and money. Readings will incorporate interdisciplinary perspectives, possibilities for transnational feminist resistance and social change.
