An in-depth study of major poets and movements from Modernism to Vanguardism, post-Vanguardism and Surrealism. Examples of the poets studied in this course are Rubén Darío, Ramón López Velarde, Gabriela Mistral, César Vallejo, Nicolás Guillén, Pablo Neruda, Octavio Paz, among others. (U of W - SPAN 333)
