This course introduces students to essential concepts and processes related to effective and ethical organizational practice. Topics may include understanding the organization and its environment; organizational structure, culture and politics; effective coordination and communication; leadership and board governance; juggling management and front-line responsibilities; teamwork; client processing; inter-organizational and inter-professional relations; diversity; managing organizational change; and, preventing stress and burnout.
