Global humanitarianism: The paradoxes of giving

In this interdisciplinary seminar we address the making of humanitarianism as a modern institutionalized practice and we reflect on the contemporary paradoxes of global humanitarian assistance, especially those faced by the recipients, experts and volunteers.
