People at Laurier

Wafaa Jawed, Global Studies When Wafaa Jawed was looking for a university, she considered Laurier from far off Dubai. Its highly regarded Global Studies program was recommended to her by a friend and she was impressed how "cozy and spirited" it seemed. "I started making friends my first day here and also discovered how accessible Laurier was to all its students." When not studying, Wafaa works as a supervisor in Laurier's Annual Giving Call Centre.
