People at Laurier

Jonathan Finn, Department of Communication Studies Jonathan Finn loves teaching communication studies because students often have personal experiences with topics like surveillance and advertising, which make for fruitful class discussions. Finn has researched the use of visual representation in contemporary law-enforcement practices, and he’s currently researching photographic representation in sport, such as the photo-finish, instant-replay and other uses of the photograph as a juridical tool.
