Angèle Hamel, Physics & Computer Science Angèle Hamel is an internationally recognized researcher in combinatorics – the mathematics behind computer science. Her NSERC-supported research is a mix of computer science and mathematics, with applications for security, networks, and algorithms. A highly rated teacher in computer science, Hamel's Applied Cryptography course is especially popular.
