Amy Christie holds a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and was nominated for the Aurora Prize for outstanding research in the social sciences. Her research interests focus on status, power, leadership and employee well-being in the workplace. In a recent article, published in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Christie and her coauthors found that status inequalities in basketball teams were associated with the players’ performance and physical health.
