Kenneth Tam ('08), BA and MA, History Kenneth Tam is a science-fiction writer who regularly travels across Canada promoting his books and leading writing workshops. Kenneth graduated from Laurier in 2006 with a Faculty of Arts Gold Medal. During 2006/2007, he was awarded a Balsillie Fellowship at the Centre for International Governance Innovation and worked for former Canadian ambassador to the United Nations, Paul Heinbecker. After graduation, he spent two years as a communications consultant for Kitchener-Waterloo's Member of Parliament, Peter Braid. He now works with Sun Life Financial.
