Roderick Melnik, Mathematics A world expert in applied and computational mathematics and a holder of a Canada Research Chair in Mathematical Modelling, Roderick Melnik is researching new mathematical and computational tools for the analysis of coupled multi-scale systems and effects, an increasingly important aspect of science and technology. His findings have a broad range of applications, from the design of new devices and systems applied in nanotechnology and biotechnology, to applications in aerospace and environmental engineering.
